Join the Students Against Israeli Apartheid & Middle East Studies Program for a book talk with author Nora Barrows-Friedman.
Nora Barrows-Friedman, author of In Our Power: US Students Organize for Justice in Palestine and an editor with The Electronic Intifada, will speak about the enormous gains that US students involved with Palestine solidarity campaigns are making, as well as the challenges that they face as Israel-aligned groups' efforts to silence dissent and suppress criticism of Israeli policies become stronger. Barrows-Friedman will discuss students' strategies and tactics as well as the important relationships that Palestine solidarity activists are building with other anti-racist issues and social justice campaigns. Books will be available for purchase.
