Focuses on advanced-level language development through the investigation of German arts (film, music, theater, paintings, etc.) in their historical and cultural contexts. Oral and written competence achieved by means of integrated vocabulary and grammar study in content-based instruction. Notes: May be repeated for credit when topic is different. May be repeated within the degree for a maximum 6 credits.
Recommended Prerequisite: GERM 202 or equivalent, appropriate placement score, or permission of instructor.
